zukunftsgeraeusche GbR (zkg), based in Berlin and Munich, is an office and interdisciplinary research platform for projects on architecture, urban development, engineering, education for sustainable development (ESD) and building culture. The current partners of zukunftsgeraeusche are Robert K. Huber and Peter Winter.

The projects reach from experimental building and urban planning to art and performance, from lectures to exhibitions and panel discussions. Main topics are sustainable architecture and urban development, re-use and re-cycling design, large housing estates, Bauhaus and the heritage of Modernism and modern architecture.

zukunftsgeraeusche, founded in 2005 in Munich and established as zukunftsgeraeusche GbR in 2008, is since 2009 cooperating with the Technical University Berlin (TUB) as its scientific and educational partner. In many projects within the last six years this has been a growing and successful cooperation. Furthermore zukunftsgeraeusche works with a number of partner institutions in several cooperative projects, e.g. Bildungsverein Bautechnik, Bauhaus-Archiv Berlin,

Tel Aviv University, Tel Hai Practical College, VET Knobelsdorff-School Berlin, White City Center Tel Aviv, Competence-Center for Large Housing Estates.

Most projects are combined with educational formats and research involving student seminars and workshops as well as so called educational- construction- sites for experimental building-projects.

Projects have been supported e.g. by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), German Federal Foreign Office (AA), German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU), German Federal Agency for Citizenship Education (bpb), IKEA-Foundation.
